Vehicle Wraps - Budget
The following table provides a "ball park" estimate to plan your mobile advertising budget. Several factors will determine the final job cost. There are many ways to "shave cost" so understand why an economy-priced vehicle wrap really does cost less. Clearshield Protection will gladly match any competitors' price - "apples to apples".
There are several factors to consider: design time, materials (including vinyl and lamination), print, and installation, certified installation facility, size of the vehicle, amount of the vehicle to be wrapped and type of vehicle play a part in cost. In general, vehicles with compound-curves, or indentions, like a VW Bug or PT Cruiser, Chevy HHR are more difficult and more expensive to wrap than a box van with flat surfaces. Partial wraps are a great way to minimize cost as opposed to a full wrap. Vehicle Wraps use cast vinyl which is more expensive than calendared vinyls. Coverage also comes into play with the cost - do you need all the paint hidden, door handles covered, recessed areas covered, mirrors covered, deep returns/seams.
Our written proposals include the design, layout, printing, over-laminate and installation unless otherwise noted. There are no hidden charges! Prior to the proposal, we would meet with you and your team to discuss your project. For all of our Vehicle Wraps we use Avery and 3M vinyls with the corresponding brands of over-laminate film. Some shops state they use 3M and Avery products and use less expensive knockoffs and even use the incorrect materials and/or combination of materials for the application, all to reduce material cost.
Design, material selection and printing are the initial steps to a vehicle wrap. Installation is the final and most important step in the process. You want the graphics to be installed properly with high quality and durable so the wrap lasts and looks great during the entire advertising period. Clearshield Protection Services, Inc. is a 3M Preferred Graphics Installation facility which also offers 3M MCS warranty on their printing services. We install for all the major business franchises because they want high quality and long lasting durability for their franchise owners vehicles and indoor store signage. (Review "Vehicle Wrap - FAQ")
We recommend an initial appointment with the vehicle to review your project, understand your business objectives and ideas so we can develop a proposal.
